International Karate
Association Mojave
Branch has opened a
Thursday night
Karate class at the
Tehachapi Academy of
Performing Arts
Center from 7 to 9
p.m. Open to all
ages, both male and
female. A
children's karate
class on Saturdays,
from 2 to 4 p.m.
will begin in
March. Pre-sign ups
are now being taken
at the Tehachapi
Academy of

are $30 a month.
The Mojave Karate
on Saturdays is
splitting into two
classes. First
class will be from 8
until 10 a.m. and
the second class
will be held from 10
a.m. until noon.
New students are
welcome to enroll by
calling Ponting.
